Sept, 9th, 10th and 11th.
That's right folks, only 7 more days until the official start of Wi Sheep & Wool Festival and the Midwest Shetland Sheep Breeders Association show.
This year promises to be a great educational opportunity due to the involvement of 2 very experienced Shetland sheep judges from the UK. There will be a judging seminar and ram/ewe inspection on Friday, a pizza party for MSSBA members on Friday night, the show is at noon on Saturday followed by a potluck on Saturday night. Sunday there is fleece & skein competitions and Handy Shepherd mini classes. And if you have time, there's lots of shopping to indulge in so your stash can be "enhanced". I find the shopping is very dangerous and it's get worse with every year for me......too many lovely things that I think I have to own. :)
Now, 2 sheep left to get halter trained, not sure if I'm actually going to get it all done. I'll be the gal being dragged around, you won't be able to miss me. (grin)
